We debuted our compassionate services caring for our first patient in September of 2014. In April 2015, we achieved accreditation through the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC).

Mainly relying on the power of word-of-mouth, Dunes Hospice became a premier hospice provider in Northwest Indiana and now serves the twelve counties: Porter, La Porte, Lake, Starke, St. Joseph, Newton, Jasper, Pulaski, Fulton, Marshall, Kosciusko, and Elkhart through our Valparaiso and Plymouth offices.

We started as a small team of three employees with one common goal: providing the best care to patients and their families along the end-of-life journey. To this day, we have maintained that ideology and have grown our Dunes family to over 100 employees and two locations. Even though our family has grown substantially and continues to grow, our mission, effort, and commitment remain the same.

These services allow Dunes to provide patients and their families with the best hospice care experience possible. Dunes was founded on the principle of putting patients and their needs first, and no matter how much time passes, that principle will continue to be the foundation of our mission.
